Born on March 7, 1999, in Kingston, Preston was the son of Michael Oleski and his wife, Tanya, and Johanna Hindmarsh and her husband, Jamison. He was raised in the local public and continued to maintain strong connections through his work, education, and volunteer service.
Preston graduated from Pittston Area High School and worked for The Lion Brewery in Pittston Township. His professional life connected him with coworkers and members of the public who came to know and value him.
Beyond his employment, Preston dedicated more than nine years to the Excelsior Hose Company #2, Station 226, in Duryea. His involvement with the fire company made him a valued member of the local department and placed him among those who served their neighborhood through the organization.
